While doing the bypass i got the mute wire out and went to put it into the empty slot and bent and broke it. So my question is can i use a pin out of the black harness to put in the white? Will it clip into place?

No, they are different sizes. Just do the software bypass or install one of the hacked data.zip's that you'll be craving in a week anyhow.
