I heard that 5.5 gen works better than 5th gen for the F700BT, can anyone confirm, I'm looking to get one from craigslist... thanks

I have a 5g, 5.5g and Nano 2g. All work fine on the F series. I'm using hacked v1.2 firmware on the video ipods. 1.3 caused some odd issues for me. Battery charging is marginal on the hard drive ipods, but works fine on the nano.
