Ive checked out tons of posts on the mods available for the F series. My question is probably ignorant. But i have the understanding that the 700 has no dvd capabilities. However after mods you can play video via the sd card slot, aux in, ipod vid, or usb. Is this correct. thanks

You are correct, the F700 will not play a dvd. It will play video in different formats from different sources, without doing any mods.
