While traveling this weekend I had an issue with my F700BT. The Navigation would lock up in the middle of traveling. It would show the arrow not moving. It would also not show any directions on the upper left of the screen.

I was able to get it to continue the route by pressing the "map" button.

Any ideas on how to get this NOT to happen?

This just happened to me this past weekend, I also hit the map button and it came back up. In fact it happened on my way home too.

I know what you are thinking. If you touch the screen the cursor sets to that location. But no. I didn't touch the screen. Just driving.

Strange... never seen that happening...

I had the same issues (among many) on two F90bt units (both returned to 6ave.com) .. both units were deemed defective by Pioneer and they asked me to return them to the seller.

it happened to me before when i started using a bitmap image for my 3d car, that's the reason i reverted back to the 3d arrow
