just wondering if i can change the voice on the NAV directions for the AVIC Z1.

also wondering if there are any updates or where i can find updates for the nav.. and possible correct pronuciations for streets.

When you first power up the system, and I mean the very first time, you are given a few language options, Spanish, friggin French, etc.. There is a way to get back into that menu, but I can't remember right now. Next time I have time to play with my unit (the Z1, I mean), I'll post it. Outside of that, nothing else.

no you cannot change the voice on the nav, but as jimmy said, you can reinstall the initial software on the unit and choose a different language. perhaps you could get better pronunciation if thats what you were looking for?
