I am looking for a reliable, yet fairly priced (under $50) 8GB or 16GB SD card for use with and F90bt... any suggestions? Or recommendations for what NOT to get?

I don't think it really matters... But get a class 6 SDHC card.
You really shouldn't run into problems if the card is formatted properly.

I have been running the San Disk Extreme III SD cards in 2, 4, 8 and 16 gig flavors with no issues at all. The 8 and 16 gig I picked up on Ebay for 29 and 34 each, free shipping.
