Friend of mine has A D3 but wants an Avic F so I wanted to ask if all the harnesses are the same as the D3?

I switched out from a D2 to the 90BT. Definately a different harness.

This link may answer your question about the D3 harness vs. the F series harness. It's a thread about a fellow upgrading from a D3 to a F700BT in his Nissan Frontier. He says the harnesses were the same.

I looked into this awhile back and they do appear to be the same, but the bypass is different. Now that doesn't mean you can't use the D3 harness on the 90b. I mean you could but who knows for sure what pins go where on the 90bt. Here are the pin outs for the D3:

Hello
We did exactly that saturday. I had a D3 installed with bypass and I replaced it with a F-90BT with bypass also.
All the installer had to do is change the connector place for the bypass. He then reconnected it and it worked perfectly.
On thing is that the GPS connector is not the same, so we had to change the GPS antenna.
The XM and Microphone connectors are the same also.
