Ok so what needs to be connected in order for the 700bt to be booted up the first time. Ive got your basic ground, power, ignition ilumm, speakers, ect... I have the bypass with the mute to pin 4 to parking break to ground. Tested all my wires with a multimeter and they are good to go. Inspite of all that it wont boot up when I hit the reset pin. Whats causing this?

You shouldn't need to touch the reset at all. If all is like you say, just turn the car ignition on and it will come up.

Check the fuses

fuse is good, trying to see if it was DOA. I looked at the manual and it said you hit reset to turn it on for the first time,

I've never touched the reset button on mine. Granted, Mines only about 3 months old and very lightly modded. But mine has been 100% stable and no reboot or other issues with mine.
