Im new to the F700, just bought it today. I can't seem to figure it out how to disable the sound from when you push one of the soft (i.e. on the touch screen) buttons. it's terribly loud, and terribly annoything. Thanks for any help you can give.

I think that you are talking about the beep. You change that under the navi settings - sound settings - master sound hope that works for you. I have the 90bt but I think that it is the same

But doesn't that turn down all the sounds ? I just want the beep to go away.

found it, theres an option to remove the beep under the nav settings. It will beep on occassion but only for nav functions i believe.

This is one of the most-hated features of the unit. You will have to replace the actual sound files inside the AVIC. You can either replace the songs with new ones, replace them with silence, or replace them with quieter versions of themselves.

I chose the 3rd option above - cuz I like the unit responding when I select something. But the stock sounds were just so obnoxiously LOUD...
