F90BT bypass and bluetooth problems.

I know this may have been asked before so please bare with me. I upgraded from the Avic D3 with the bypass and had no problems. However, the bypass I applied to the f90bt tends not to work so smoothly as with the D3. I get that message when loading that the system has detected improper brake configuration or whatever. Neverhtheless the functionality of being able to use the navi system goes in and out. I've seen some different so called bypass for the f90 series and was wondering which if any should i use.

Also, I am unable to pair any of my phones with the my radio. its says that the bluetooth is on but when i do a scan from my phone i am unable to see anything. Just as with doing a scan from the radio, it doesnt find my phone or any phone that i attempt to scan for. I am wondering is this a result of me using that bypass and getting the message when the radio boots up.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANKS

I have the f700bt and did the same thing and have the same issue. I posted this issue and had lots of views but no solutions. If you hear something please post.

I just installed a F90bt and using the information I was able to get the bypass working. I know it's not the same scenario but here is what worked for me.

Swapped the mute wire position on the harness

Ground both the mute wire and the parking brake wire

Works like a charm
