Hi all,

I just install the F 700bt in my VW and I have a strange issue with the Sirius radio. The symptom is that only the right channel has sound in Sirius but key presses, ipod, FM all have sound from both channels; the key presses even have sound from both channels while Sirius is playing. After the install (last Friday) I had both channels and the left channel cut out periodically, but would be restored after shutting the car off. Cut to yesterday (5 days after the install) and the left channel won't work at all now. Here's what I have tried so far:

- Reboot (many times)

- Restore to factory settings

- Reseat the IP-bus connections on the Sirius box (SCC1) and the Sirius Bus Interface (CD-SB10).

- Ensure the SCC1 and the SB10 are properly grounded.

- Cylced the power on the SB10 (many times)

I'm at a loss on what to try next. Has anyone seen this issue before? Is there anything else I can try?

i would check to make sure that all the pins for the pbus cable are ok and not bent, then i would try a different Pbus cable, if both are good then it has to be a problem with one of the units

To resurect an old thread...I have a solution to add for anyone else who may experience this issue. I first replaced the Sirius box and the Sirius cable...still the same issue. Then I replaced the P-Bus cable after checking the pins...still the same issue. I replaced the SB10 and that was the issue. Thanks to all the replies.
