My friend installed a Z1 in my 2006 Evo MR and there were some problems with the harness...and I realized he never properly hooked up the ILL wire, because my unit does not dim at night/nor am I able to flicker the headlights and do the bypass for the unit (June '06 model). Does anyone have any pictures or anything that would assist me in hooking it up? I don't really want to go back to him because he helped me out...so can anyone help with any diagrams, what color the wire is or anything? Thanks!

Radio Illumination green/white + radio harness

Try that. IF that doesn't work then you can either of these wires and run an extension over to the radio.

Parking Lights+ green/yel (L), green/wht (R) + white plug bottom of fuse box

FIXED! Thanks cntrylvr79 for your help...the ILL wire was not even connected. We took it all apart, added the mic and iPod adapter and soldered it back together. Works perfectly now :D
