okay im like totally new to this whole hacking and modding thing

i don't wanna take out my deck and do anything i was wondernig is there a software bypass for this and i pulled my handbreake but no luck the icons are still grey and i can't even type in a address which is really gay anyone with the same problem or any suggestions on what to do

search the site for the hardware bypass. Print it out, then go out to your car, pull the unit out and follow the bypass instructions as you put it back in the car.

did you hookup the parking brake wire or just ground it without moving the mute wire?

there is a software bypass, but its a little more involved than the hardware bypass
