I came across this on the Pioneer website. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/Navigation/Accessories/CD-UB100 Apparently it will allow you to connect a USB jump drive with music on it and play it through your HU. Does anyone know if this will work with the D3?

It will work, but you will have to use the EXT 1 screen. It will display artist, track, and title but it is only a few letters. basically it works like a cd player ff rw next folder, etc. doesn't have the features like the n4/n5.

Thanks for the reply. It might be worth looking into, because it is allot cheaper than a CD changer and I have a few Jump drives which would be good for carrying extra music. If I run the cable through the glove compartment and leave it next to where my IPod is in there, I could connect and disconnect Jump drives easily. Any any idea if you can play video with this?

contact pioneer and ask the tech support, they should be able to tell you if it can feed the video that mp3 players can do...........
