Thinking about purchasing a Z1 this week but have a couple questions regarding the Music Library that I have not seen answered yet.

1.) I have a multitude of of mp3's on my PC, am I right in assuming the only way to get them into the Z1 is to burn 12-14 mp3's to an audio CD and feed the audio CD to the Z1?

2.) What is the compression or audio quality of the playback of the files stored on the HDD? Anyone know if it's a direct rip to mp3, but more importantly how different do they sound from the cda?
