I got this unit a few months ago and it is not 2.0 update, I need someone to help me get this unit working properly. it locks up, some intermitten static, think it is BT from phone, slow startup and no vid while driving. had installer do bypass and got screwed on that deal. he did the cap bypass like the D3. please help desperate or im going to Kill this unit.

Go to pinoeers website and DL the 2.0 update and follow the instructions. The 2.0 fixes the slow startup and it has an update for the BT, so those things will be fixed. There is a picture guide in the hacks/mod section on how to do the parking brake bypass and if you dont want to mess with wiring do a search for software bypass in the hack/mod section and you will have video and full gps software opitions while driving.

I have done the pioneer download to SD card and followed the ins to the letter and will not transfer files to my unit, reformatted and did again no luck. I need a local guru to help me out not very savy with this unit.

Some people on here have had probs installing the 2.0 because the sd card wa not formatted in FAT. I am not saying you did not format the sd card right before you put the files on there, but just saying just in case. Anyhow goodluck with your prob hope you get it fixed. You can take it to an authorized pioneer dealer and they can install the update for you also.

I am in Shreveport area so if you ever make your way over here I wouldn't mind updating your system for you.
