So i recently got an avic f90bt on amazon. with that i also got the hd radio (Pioneer GEX-P10HD HD Radio Tuner for Pioneer HD Radio-Ready Head Units) and a PAC SWI-PS Sony and Pioneer Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface, well i took it to some one who does radios ( a pro) so i left the shop and the hd was working playing around with it, i don't know what happened but the hd radio and regular radio does not work.. u can click on it but no sound comes out the hd is mute and the other it makes a static noise and thats it...

now the pac swi ps does not work on the radio the pro said something to do with the wiring doesn't match does anyone know the solution to these problems thanks... im new i don't know anything about this radio ... thanks

the IPbus cable might be plugged into the wrong connector (common problem) it need to be plugged into the black connector on the HD box not the blue one,

as for the SWI-PS, what is the car (year, make, and model)

i agree with 1loudls, i did the same thing, i plugged the cable into the wrong port on my GEX-P10HD HD

So wait...you are saying that it was working and then all of the sudden stopped working. I am having this problem, and it will work for a second and then suddenly fad out to static, or work, or not work just randomly. I thought it was the ground for the power for the HD Radio Tuner, but it is definitely secure now.
