I know that we cant x-fer contacts from the iPhone 2g, 3g but we are able to add a few numbers to our D3 like a speed dial. I was able to add the numbers in, but while driving its hard to read the numbers and figure who im calling. I noticed that theres a [ABC/123] button and if I press it 1st screen shows me the contact numbers. I press it again its all blank. How and am I able to add there names to there contacts?

You should be able to go into the Phonebook and next to the number should be an "Edit" button. Add the name there.
