So I've been struggling with my iPhone failing to connect to my F-90BT and I think I have figured out my problem. I have my corporate email attached to my iPhone which requires me to password protect the phone. If my phone is locked 90% of the time it will not connect to the f90bt, if I unlock it the phone will connect 100% of the time. Has anyone else seen this with the phone being locked not connecting?

Check in the BT settings for you phone and see if you can make the avic a trusted device. I have a samsung instinct and had to set BT to in the settings on the phone to "always visable" and the avic as a "trusted device and "always connect". I leave my phone locked all the time and it will always connect to the avic. I am not familiar with the iphone, hopefully you get figured out.

Mine connects locked every time. Delete your phone profile on the Avic and repair the phone with the unit.
