I just bought a 09 Avalanche and wanted to upgrade to a Pioneer AVic F90BT but the shop could not find the amp wire. Does anyone know where the orange GM amp wire is or what and where is the correct amp wire. I am lost, just going on what the installer told me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

More input from the installer. He said the install calls for a lan2 adapter but there is supposed to be a orange wire in the GM harness that powers the amp but it just isn't there. Any ideas?? Thanks

new chevys do not have a "AMP" wire anymore, its all data controlled, you will need the module as it turns the amp turn on signal in to the data command the truck needs
