I have not yet found documentation anywhere with this information. exFAT was created as an alternative to FAT32 with larger file size ability for flash drives. I had an external 250GB hard drive that was formatted with FAT32 from the manufacturer. It did not work with my 900BT. I have reformatted it to exFAT and was wondering if anyone has had any success.

I tried exfat as I was wondering the same thing. It was a 2 gig flash drive and guess what it didnt work. I am guessing it is a software wall by pioneer. I do however have a 250 seagate free agent go attached to my unit with about 23 gigs of mp3s and it works fine. It is formatted to fat 32 and all that. Just read this post here.
