Ok here is the problem i get no sound from the dvd the video plays but no sound the library plays you here music but its like static and the navigation works but no voice and also the lady in voice command you can't hear her either the radio works fine and the ipod works fine. the blutooth connects but they can hear me but i can't hear them. I've had the radio for about a year and a half now
Check the Auto Ant option in System Settings, and verify that it is set to "Power" instead of "Radio". If changing it from RADIO to POWER fixes the problem then I would suggest that you change the amp remote power wire from the BLUE wire to the BLUE/WHITE wire on the back of the Z.
i read that in one of the other post that was the first thing i looked at and tried still didn't work even tried a master reset lost everything in library but it still didn't work
Finally, I've found someone with the same exact issue I've been having. I upgraded my Z2 to a Z3, and ever since I've had no audio from DVDs, scratchy/low level audio from CDs, no nav voice, extremely low level menu sounds, and now my GPS location takes 5 minutes to initiate, and when it does it always shows me about two miles off course. Garrett was very prompt & helpful with the same suggestion he offered you, and I tried the same thing and got no results. I've only owned the deck since January, and I've nearly rendered it useless for the sake of upgrading the software for a featureset I can't even use now. Did you ever make any progress with your situation?
I still have the problem i contacted pioneer they told me to send it back and thell fix it for 200 dollars. The only problem is if i do that ill have no radio and a big open spot in my dash so im waiting untill i go on vacation to send it back ever stero shop iv'e talked to has told me it looks like my hard drive has crashed or they have no answer. At least your navigation still works my doesn't even work i put the adress in it takes it but then it stay on the same screen with my location the number don't count down and the minutes don't count down either
