Has anyone ever successsfully downloaded this cd off of the internet?
How would this need to be burned in order for a Z1 to read this cd and do the update?
Ive been searching on the internet and i have found the files for a map update cd and also this upgrade for Z1 to be Z3... but im not sure how to burn it....
Any help would be appreciated...
It can not be burned and installed. You will need to remove your hard drive, unlock it, disable the security, and then reimage it with the downloaded files.
Or of course order the CNDV-800HD DVDs from Pioneer, generate the password via their website, and do the update.... 
Simply ordering a new drive from garret is a lot easier and faster for US customers of course...
Soory Gents for the newbie questions but I have been out of touch for a while. I have a Z2 and the last update I did was last year 2008. What and how do I sucessfully update my Z2 to Z3? Step by Step would be greatly appreciated.
