I know a similar question has been posted in the past but it was some time ago and I figure there have probably been more refurbished units purchased since the first posting.

Has anyone here purchased refurbished or remanufactured F series units? What has been your experience with them? Are they reliable?

yes i just got one. It works like a charm. I asked the reason why it was returned and here was the reply "The previous owner didn't know anything about car audio, double-din or single din, so he tried to fit the f900bt in a single din opening, needless to say it didnt fit so he returned it, here is your brand new never been turned on f900bt for 500 dollars" So yeah i was happy

I also bought a refurbished unit. came sealed in a pioneer reconditioned box. haven't had any problems everything works good and for $369 (f700) can't be beat

Mine came in a sealed pioneer box as a factory refurb. I have had it for a month and it's been working great, not a mark on it either and it looked brand new to me
