Random operation when I try to change volume F90

I have had the F90 in a 2008 Tundra for about 5 months now, and there is an annoying problem that I would like to see if anyone else has had:

When I go to adjust the volume, but without actually moving the Multi control, I will often hear a beep and the arrow icon on the GPS map display suddenly becomes un-locked from the bottom of the screen and proceeds to travel up and off the screen. I can restore it by pressing MAP, however, this seems like some sort of problem. Maybe it is normal - just wanted to check with others to see if it is just mine.

Thanks!

Sounds like your volume/multi-function button is not working right and that can be hardware or software.

you can try scopin' some of these threads and learning how to re-install the software --

I've read through a lot of it and unless you feel 100% in doing so, I wouldn't try it. I would bite the bullet, at that point, and call Pioneer and be prepared to uninstall your headunit and send it back to them with a 3-4 week wait and a situation where you'll likely have to pay for shipping TO them, at least.
