A member of another forum was kind enough to patch up the latest European version of EZRider to work with other licenses, like before.
(no guarantees from me, I'm running US firmware).

Now that there are at least two people who know how to patch it, it should be easier to get updates...
I've installed the update 2.005 with the old ezrider.exe, and have no problems.
Last weekend been to Germany and the update wasnt installed yet. Bummer... 
Every 5 minutes a reset.

Today I use this new cracked ezrider new 2008.10 maps and buildings and poi and all work on mu EU F900Bt unit very well.
Thats only for info that file works.
how do you get zrider on to your ststem ? i can put it into testmode but as its copying the files it startes to freeze and i cant close the copy screen or see anything else on there, if i try to close the copy scren i get green bars where the start menu should be and also where ever i press on the screen.
is there a fix for this please anybody ? i have a US 90bt unit trying to put uk or europe maps onto the system

Is it for Pre or post 2.007000 update, if it is for post update how do you suggest we install it ?
easiest way is to paste it in the pioneer update i guess, before updating!
And if it does not work correctly you are stuck with no testmode to rectify the situation.

With all the previous updates, at least, there's an integrity check, so you can't slipstream anything in it...

Yes... With previous updates you couldn't even update DATA.ZIP to do software bypass.
Obviously Pioneer does not want to deal with people who had a corrupted download, tried to load it onto AVIC and bricked it. So the updater compares checksums of files with what they should be, and does not do anything unless they match.

If thats the case that ezrider causes the reboot, why not stay at 2.005 and just change the ezrider file with the hacked 2.007 one?
