Since I installed my F90BT in my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I'd say 90% of the time I lose all function of my heat and ac panel. Blower speed, temp controls, blower location, ac button and rear defrost button. It's becoming more of an issue now as the weather is getting warmer because some heat actually does trickle out of the vents. Another thing I noticed is the 90% of the time I lose these controls, the drivers side airbag light comes on also. I know when I have fully functional heat/ac when I look down and the airbag light on the instrument panel is not lit up. I installed the f90bt with the hardwire bypass. I also needed to use the C2R-CHY4 adapter from PAC-Audio due to my Jeep having the factory amp installed and the CANbus. Hopefully somebody out there in avic land can help me out. I'd really rather not have to bring this in to the dealer to fix it. Thanks

Here's the link to the adapter I had to use in my Jeep:

Sounds like the adapter is bad - can feed false signals to the data wire for the computer system and all hell will break loose - just really random wierd stuff will happen. Have had my ac go out and work on the next ignition cycle. Same with alternator not charging warning... Might try another one or another brand.

if you dont have the premium sound system and you need the module to interface with the factory amps, i would ditch the module all together and just run a new ACC wire. most of the CAN modules seem to be very buggy and the F-series is buggy enough
