I have an early Z1 with the original software and the Ducatiboy headlight flash bypass. I am in the process of reinstalling it in a different vehicle, good time for upgrades and/or fixes. My question is, if I install the bluetooth and "overheat" fix (I live in Phoenix so I need it), does it override the flasher bypass. If so, is it now as easy as using the grounding method I have read about to "unlock" the unit while driving? Also, anybody know what wire is the Speed sensor wire in a 2003 Avalanche? Thanks

If you upgrade the firmware on your Z1, then the ducatiboy flasher will no longer work for the bypass. You will just need to do the simple 2 wire grounding bypass.
