if i upgrade my N2 to the CDV-60 software can i use a ndbt-1 bluetooth adaptor with some functionality, i have searched a bit but i cant find any definitive answers, i dobt i will get full functionality but will i at least be able to make and receive calls?

No! You can only use the CD-BT100.

Right, the BT100 is your only option, and it only has limited functionality. You can recieve calls through the head unit, and it works like an old school HF kit, so you have to dial out through the keypad on the phone....
