Here's a more detailed description of what happened:
Basically i was rewiring my car because i took it in to get the unit put in and the rca's wired for my subwoofer and the idiots wired everything on one side. which is a big no no.... This was a while back maybe about 1 1/2 years ago, so this weekend i decided well, i'll just wire it correctly what the heck...
So long story short i rewired it put everything back together and everthing was working just fine. Then i noticed i forgot to plug my ps2 back in so i pulled the radio out and my guess is that i must of left the accessory on, i didnt notice and i think some wires must have touched because i noticed my radio fuse was blown after it would not turn on, so i put a new fuse in and radio turned on but no sound...
So i start checking all my fuses to make sure none are blown and they all check out. so , last thing i could think of was to plug in my stock headunit to see if maybe it's the unit or the wirring. once i plugged that back in everything worked.
So needless to say i know it's the headunit and i think all the line outs must be blown on the unit. Everything works except sound.....
So i don't know if it's worth paying the 200 fee to send it in or if anyone has a solution or an idea what it could be?
I'm using the line out rca's because i have a bose factory amp on an RSX TypeS and i'm using the harness kit that converts speaker wires to rca's i guess i could try to use the harness kit that doesn't use rca's and see if that works...
