so after much headache with the shop who i bought the F900bt from and them telling me they cant do it, i did the hardware bypass myself. moved the mute wire from pin 1 to pin 4 and grounded it. then grounded the parking brake wire just the same.

 

this is allowing me to watch video til 20mph. then it shuts the screen off. how can i allieviate this??? today is the start of a 7000 mile road trip and ide really like to have my video in motion working! thanks!!

The easiest most reliable way is the hardware bypass.

 

1. Move the mute wire ( like you said you already did )

2. Ground the mute wire and parking brake wire with the radio's ground

3. Plug everything in and you're done
