Ive been watching prices on this and it seems its between 520-590 dollars shipped. depending on how hard you look and what time of the day you find them.
My question is Im hearing theres an update 2.0 and that is the one that should be bought? Can you buy any model and update it?
Anyone have any insight on it?
This Model has the DVD,Navi,CD,USB and SD card reader? The only thing different from this model and the F700 is the DVD player correct?
For everyone that his this unit. Im planning to install this in my Daily Driver. What are some common things you guys are doing to this unit to make it better? I am hearing lots of hack storys and good things about both units but I really want the DVD feature so I think the F90 would be better for me. espically for long trips.
I also find the bluetooth that could be useful in driving.
Hows the touch screen and load times on these? I dont have and Ipod and Think this would really clean up my car and just give it a much better feel. I want to take advantage of the SD card and USB connections and use that for my music vs having an Ipod that I have to keep charged up all the time.
My last and final question is that I have steering wheel controls and I use them SO much that I hardly notice it. Does one of the PAC units work with it? what model? and does it have any effects on the system?
Also my current setup has a set of AUX ports that are tied into my factory headunit. do I just undo and remove those connections and plug the amp in directly to the AUX on this new radio and call it good?
