download gtimatts data.zip, he has that feature,

I don't want to change the whole interface I just want to remove that feature.

Look for the following code in navigatemap.ui
ui_NavigateMapZoomControls3D.show
Easiest thing to do is probably just change it to
ui_NavigateMapZoomControls3D.hide

Well actually GITIMATT I have been using your mod all weekend and think I am going to stick with it. It's functions make more sense than the other mods I have tried the only minor downside for me is I prefer a bigger clock but other than that it is close to perfect!!
