When I turn on my Z2, it freezes on the splash screen.
and if it works, the songs keep skipping...
any ideas?

Are the songs that are skipping on the hard drive? If so, your hard drive may by failing. Have you tried the Pioneer Z1/Z2 firmware update to fix the freezing issue?

I tried the update, and when completed it said UPDATE FAILED and kept restarting!!
I took the CD out and It keeps rebooting and saying update failed!

This was a common problem with this update. You need to leave the disc in, and let it keep trying until it completes. The only other option is to upgrade the hard drive directly. See the Z series hacks forum.
