I just recently installed a F90bt with firmware 2.0. Everything is fine except two things:

1. People on the other end of the bluetooth connection states that I sound far from the mic. (it is mounted on my dash, close to the steering wheel)

2. Voice recognition does not work. I would say, "play artist Jadakiss" it would then respond with "playing all songs". But what gets me the most is that it wouldn't even play anything at all! It would continue to play the song that was originally playing to begin with.

You could try downgrading the bluetooth software and then upgrading it back up. I posted a link about this in another post.

I have found that if I had sync'd my ipod but not updated the VR catalog, then the voice commands would do the playing all songs thing. Have you updated the VR catalog lately?

probably not gunna get any better volume for your listeners .. you might try changing the microphone out...

Some on this forum have changed the mic out and it still didn't work -- i agree -- try downgrading the bluetooth software -- it's fairly straightforward.

Can't imagine why your voice recognition isn't working -- perhaps you're not saying it in the right order ..

I looked on Pioneer's website but I only see the new one.

I'm having the same issue how do i update my VR?

I'm having a problem useing the VR to make calls, I say call Danny, or Brandon Or Shannon and I get the same response, first I get the reply of " say the name or number you want to call " then I say the name again and then I get a response of " showing all artists " I've only had my f90bt in my truck for 3 weeks now. I am also having a problem with my Ipod and the VR, I tell it to play the artist -x-, then it says playing artist -x-. and it will either swith to artist -z- or won't switch at all. Is there anything I can do to get this working right ? Other then this I love my f90. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
