Since I saw nothing on the sites selling the Griffin Firewire to USB converter in regard to how it worked, or didn't work, with the CD-IB100II, and since the other converter on the market did disclose that it did not work with the CD-IB100II, I ordered the Griffin converter. When I finally got it and tried it, it did not appear to charge my 4th generation iPod Nano. So I finally went to the Griffin support site, which I guess I should have done before, and found that the converter DOES NOT WORK with the CD-IB100II. Thanks again, Pioneer (for nothing). Not surprised...I bought the Griffin AV cable to replace the crappy pioneer one for the F-series, and it doesn't work at all either. On my 80GB classic it doesn't clip in, and all i get is a distorted Pioneer logo on my ipod screen. On my bf's 30GB video, it works but only gets audio on the right channel. Me thinks Griffin sucks.
