I went in and changed just about every button on the user interface pages to some pretty cool blue, "softgel" type buttons.
Here are some screenshots( I apologize for the resolution,..taken from my phone

Are you going to post the theme so that others may enjoy it?
Absolutley,..
The file is a bit large,...whats the best way to get it out there?
Not really sure. How big is the file? Can you zip it and email it?
Sure,..send me a PM w your email and I can try sending u the 2 files required.
Could you please post the link for the change, I really like this new theme. Great job.
Ok,..for those of you that would like the files, I have uploaded them via rapidshare.
Follow the following link to download:
http://rapidshare.com/files/235355725/BBTN_THEME_files.zip.html
there are 2 sets,..The "Image.res" file will update main UI buttons,..
the "800_400" files will update your navigation settings/menu buttons,..the two of these handle about 95% of the buttons in the unit.
Directions for installation are as follows:
This will need to be done on your PC first
--Take all the image files in my "800_400" folder (unzip the file,.and select all images inside)and copy/replace them to your "DATA.ZIP\ui_pioneer\800_400" folder.(this should overwrite only the buttons I messed with,..all other files should remain there),...re-zip, and save to SD card.
Take my "Image.res" file and save to SD card.(DO NOT UNZIP OR MODIFY)
Now,..take the SD card to your pioneer unit,..
**BACKUP YOUR "APL" AND "APL2" FOLDERS!!**
--Copy/replace the "image.res" file into the "APL" folder of your flash drive on the pioneer unit,
--Then,..
take that newly modified "DATA.ZIP" file and copy/replace in the "APL2\iGO" folder of your flash drive on the pioneer unit.
--reboot w/out SD card and enjoy!!
Thank you for that man, I appreciate it. =D
look good are you going repost it
I have reported the files to the following link.
Enjoy

looks good coach but tot he pics, your missing two boxes there. did you fix those up or patch them?
Hi superman,..not sure I understand what your askin. ![]()
Ok,..I think i know what ya mean.
There were 2 header boxes(Destination Menu and City, State in my screenshots above) that I missed.
Turned out they use the same image. So I missed 1 out of like 300,..lol,..not too shabby.
I think I just hurt myself givin myself a pat on the back there..
Anyways,..
I fixed that, and normalized a few headers/footers, as I noticed I had some expermiental ones still in there.
The latest version is now at this link:

sorry bout the numerous posts.
Let me know if you find anything else I missed.
try it but it didnit work it didm't copy over it this added to it, what did i do wrong
would need a bit more detail then that to help ya.
I have a F900,..using 800_480,..
if the files were copied over correctly then it should work.
Give it another shot...or give me more details and/or your files from your SD
Only reason something wouldnt copy over is if its not titled exactly the same as the file your trying to copy. Needs to be the same exact filename and file extension as the one u want repleaced for it or any to work. Havent trie it yet but hopefully will tonite. I would assume the files included in the first post are named exactly the same as the stock files being replaced. Did u use 7zip?
try it again and every thing copy over, thank
Sorry for a stupid question but im not too saavy with zip programs. I've downloaded 7zip, got my data.zip from the device on my desktop computer, unzip the 800x400 folder, copy/pasted/overwrote the files with your files, now how do i put this modded folder back into the data.zip? Am i doing this wrong? Id love to have these blue keys but can't figure out how to get the right folder back in its proper place? When i try to drag and drop it back to where it goes, the program just puts it in the main root zip of the file so its not in the proper folder. Thanks!

highlight all the folders/files inside DATA folder then right click choose 7zip, then add to archive and that should do it

So get my original Data.zip, extract it to its own folder, then copy the stuff needed, then rezip the Data folder back? Is that right? Ima try that right now.
Dang, still cant get it to work right! I used the 7zip program but when you make a zip it saves it as 7z zip file and the device doesn't read it as a zip so that kind of defeats the whole purpose of using 7zip. Tried extracting the whole DATA folder, copy over the new button files, then re-zip the entire DATA folder, replacing it on the device, reboot, no changes made at all! I dont get it?

After you are done zipping the folder back rename it from "data.7z" to "data.zip"
