I just bought a used Pioneer AVIC-D3. and have installed it in my Audi. but when it starts up and I need to enter code, then touchscreen will not work!

In the danger that I have maked an improper installation, so I tried to turn it on when only + and - which is connected to it, but this didnt work. Moreover, I can not NAV DVDen out and there is no button that works

I know it worked when I bought it when I saw it in use before it was picked out.

Need more info. You say that it freezes, but where? What screen? Are you sure the code is correct? IDK what happens if you enter the wrong code.

It freeze when it hits the code-screen. After that nothing is possible, not even to enter a code, the screen simply dosnt work.

I dont know what more info you need? Can it be a foulthy wirre?

Sounds like a dead unit. I would try a reset if you haven't already. If the unit has power & is grounded, everything should work, even w/o the rest of the stuff plugged in.

I doubt that it's a faulty wire (in the harness), but who knows what could be wrong inside. Did you watch them package the unit? Is it possible they showed you a display model and gave you something else? Is it possible that they or you dropped it?

I bagged it myself, so Iwill send it to rapair.
