i have a avic 90 dvd with a avh6400, all of a sudden it wont read any dvd.my map was all distorted looking then it just wont read the dvd at all.
it wont even read a movie dvd.all i get is insert the appropiate disc.
any ideas?

btw how about a forum for us "old school" avic 90,80,88 guys :P

Can somebody help me I've forgotten the service menu password - I know its something ridiculously simple its really obvious i remeber that - but I cant for the life of me remember what it is.

Will the unit eject the nav disc? If so, is it dirty? If you can eject the disc use a can of compressed air to clean out the cd/dvd mech. If you need more info on how to do this reply back.
