Problem accessing the SETTINGS Menu

OK so I started my car today, booted up as usual.. but then a windows prompt came up and asked me if I wanted to reset all of my settings, and that all of my POI, and NAV settings would get erased. I naturally clicked NO.

NOW when I go into the settings menu, NAVI settings and SYSTEM settings are both grayed out. Everything else works, I can enter an address and it navigates as usual. Ipod, radio, and CDS all play. I just can't access the settings! Any help?

I've tried resetting the unit, still grayed out.. then I tried to apply the 2.0 software update (unit already has 2.0 preloaded) thinking it would wipe the software and it would have a fresh install.. It wont even BOOT into the update, just boots as if the SD card wasn't there.

Also tried booting into testmode, works.

Tried deleting the files as listed in another thread regarding lost passwords... booted in testmode, deleted files in both folders. NOW when i boot it asks for language ALL ARE GRAYED OUT, i click OK and next it asks for which voice ALL GRAYED OUT and i click OK. STILL both Navi and System settings are grayed out. I backed up all the files I deleted... so I can just put them back if need be.

HELP!!

Simple question. Is the parking brake wire still grounded?

Simple question. Is the parking brake wire still grounded?

Should be... it was bypassed and it worked for the past week... I'll take it out maybe the wires shifted a bit.
