I have completed the hardware bypass it works ok for the most part but its because i broke the metal pin at the end of the mute wire, my question for you, I instaled it into a 2003 Mazdaspeed protege and now my ABS and E-brake light in my dash are on??? its like my car actually thinks its in park or something :s

You need to unhook the wire going from the avic to the P Brake wire of the car before you ground ONLY the avic side of the wire.

Did you install the VSS (vehicle speed sensing) wire to the AVIC?

If yes: you can try disconnecting this and seeing if the problem with the dash lights go away

If no: Did you install a steering wheel control adapter (like PAC or Peripheral?)
