if it say's it's for the 8.0 version, it wouldm't matter if it's the 2007 version or the more up to date 2008.04

But can we use these map?

NO... you can not use those maps, those are for 8.3 ver of iGo... by default AVIC comes with iGo 8.0 and map version 2007 (atleast AVIC F900BT), latest map version for iGo 8.0 is 2008.4 those are available but to use those maps you need license which is also available. ... use search to get more info.....

Are you using leetlauncher to run 2008.10 maps?? if not then could you please tell us how did you get and add the 2008.10 maps on !!

Thanks, but i did not get anything on that site regarding how to use 2008.10 maps on iGo 8, which is not possible as per my knowledge (without leetlauncher)....

I think he talking about igo 8.3 ver. it had 2008.10 for eur,and 2008.04 for NA

please read the hacks thread regarding maps as it has been discussed a couple times before

The maps I'm running on my US unit are for EU countries: Ireland 8_2008.10_081222 and so far they work without any problems.
