I'm looking into purchasing the F90BT due to the hackability and had a few questions prior to pulling the trigger (sorry if these have been previously asked).

01) Since this is a discontinued item, what are the chances of future firmware/system updates?

02) What type of GPS software/maps are used?

03) What is the frequency of of map updates?

04) How accurate is the GPS?

05) How up to date are the maps?

1) still waiting for the 3.0 update,

2) igo 8.0

3) we haven't had a map update since the release, AFAIK

4)it's not too bad

5) the stock ones are outdated, 2007.01
