Hello,

we have the 900BT - European Version (german).

We have a lot of reboots. Not every Minute or so.

Sometimes 20 mins fine - then reboot. Or every 10 seconds.

Its not constant.

Only CD or USB or combined with navigation etc.. same effect.

So i tried at first the testmode thing - delete these 4 ini files.

Reboot the system. Doesnt work.

We have the newest firmware.

We have grounded the parking brake wire.

I dont know what it could be...

There is a new update on Pioneer's EU site just for this issue. It has to do with TMC in Germany.

we have firmware 2.005000.

so we thought that the presvius update was not ok, so we want to "reflash" the firmware,

but this doesnt work. It doesnt boot from the flashcard, but it boots the test sd card.

another question:

the pioneer avic 900 works without wired speed signal / rear signal?

cause we tried at first without these cables.

We tried a lot...

but still rebooting sometimes.

Are you still experiencing this problem? I just had the same thing happen, but my unit has only been installed for a day now. I'm hoping that it's jut a loose connection and that it can be fixed easily. I'd hate to have to send this back :(
