Just got the F500 installed in my G35. The shop is a custom shop and they usually work on high end cars. They ended up charging me around $500 for the mount and install on my dash (in the cubby hole). The install is pretty clean and it works great. Just wondering if I paid too much for this? What are rates around the country for an install like this?

Yeah, that's pretty high. Although, if they did a good job, that's what matters...I've seen places charge $500 and then scratch the dashboard all to hell.

What the hell?! Doesn't the unit itself cost less than $500?! Haha... I'm sorry man, but that is WAY too much... Hell, I paid $75 to get mine installed to the amp, and in dash.

I paid 80 for my 700bt in toronto
