I nam in desperate need of someone in my area with a CD-R11 remote so I can get into my service menu on my DVD80. I need to force it back to the original nav disk that came with the unit. I can not even find one of these remotes to buy so I look to the AVIC411 community for my cry for help. Anyone?????

Pioneer's parts department still sells it if you don't mind paying a fortune

Is that the same as a CD-R11? Is that the model that replaced it?

Unfortunately its not. The remote you linked looks like this:

and what he is asking for is the CD-SR11, which looks like this:

iCeQuBe, drive down to NYC and I'll sell you mine. I just bought a whole new CD-VC1 so I could get a mount, so if you want to buy my extra CD-SR11, let me know.

The one on the top looks like the CD-R11 the one on the bottom looks like the remote I have on my steering wheel. I need the one on top so I can get the 10 numbers keys that will get me into the service menu to downgrade firmware versions. Also on another note. Does anyone know what is the best blank DL DVD disc to use when making a backup of your original disc. I have heard that some brands work better than others. Thanks.

I apologize I guess I was too fast and thought I saw you typed CD-SR11
The remote on top is the CXB9118. It is listed as working with the DVD90, Im assuming it would work with the DVD80.

Sorry!
