Hello all,

Lovin my f700, but now I've seen this:

http://www.pioneer.es/eur/products/CD-SR120/print.html

Says compatible with all CD units, but this is more than just a 'CD unit', so want to be sure before spending the £30.

Does anyone know if it will work with F series? If so, are there any glitches problems. Might ring Pioneer UK tomorrow, but they've not been too clued up about anything else so far.

Does anyone use an alternative remote for their F series, or does anyone know of anything swish that will work?

Google's not spitting out much useful stuff, so whatever input anyone may have would be most appreciated.

Ta,

Rob.

as far as i konw, the F-series will not work with any wireless remote, only wired remotes (steering wheel adapters or marine remotes)

Yeah, that is what I have read, but not sure if that only refers to infra red type remotes of old. And then if the CD120 won't work what wired remotes are available? Can't find anything on pioneer websites, and not much on google either...

I am currently using a sony RM-X4S wired remote to control basic functions on my f90. It is still available at crutchfield for 34.99.
