I have a Pioneer Avic-D3, and lately i cant stop it from switching modes. I could be listening to my ipod and without warning it will just switch to video or radio. Its completely random as far as i can tell. What could cause this, and would it be worth trying to get it fixed? Usually with electronics it's better to just replace it. thought ? help ?

Do you have a steering wheel control adapter? If so that could be causing the issue. I have an 2004 Z71 Tahoe with the steering wheel control adapter and the connection was loose and cause my D3 to switch radio stations on its own. Hope this helps.
