Hey everyone, first off this is a great site and i got a lot of good info when I was doing my install. I have one problem after everything is hooked up though; I purchased an ipod adapter, a sirius adapter, and the cdbtb200 bluetooth adapter. I installed the my z1 ( munufacture date sept 2006 ) and grounded the two wires for the bypass. I then hooked the ip bus to the bluetooth adapter first and then daisy chained the sirius and finally the ipod. Now the problem is that my z1 will not let me go into the phone menu as it is greyed out. I know the unit is hooked up correctly because I can search for bluetooth devices with my phone and I can see and pair with the pioneer unit and also the ipod adapter is working and it is the last unit in the chain. The only way I can see the bluetooth unit on the z1 is it shows I have it hooked up on the av source screen as one of the ext functions but when I go to that function all it says is no phone up in the top left corner. Any ideas? It almost seems like it is a software problem.

The BT adapater does not plug into the IP-Bus. The Z3 uses bluetooth module ND-BT1 and it plugs directly into the back of the Z (not ip-bus). The CD-BT200 is NOT compatable this the Z series.

Unreal!!!.......now im fuming!!........went into the local stereo shop requesting a pioneer ndbt1 bluetooth adapter for a z1 and the tech corrected me saying that it was discontinued and that the cdbtb200 is the new version!!! Now I have to yank the dash apart on my 350z twice........oh well I'll be going down there tomorrow and tearing someone a new ass. Thanks for the help though
