The bluetooth on the phone and the AVIC will not find each other. Any recomendations?

After several attempts with my ENV3 of not connecting, I found I needed to put the phone in "discover mode" not just turn on the bluetooth and then it linked right up. I had the same issue with my Alias too. Hope that helps...
